Girl Pirates

Cordelia and Natalia in the Kid Day Parade in 2010.

Cordelia showing off her ribbon.

Natalia is waiting for the parade to start.

Cordelia is armed and ready.

Here they go their first parade.

Jadin wants to be a girl pirate now that the parade is over.

Baseball 2010

Alex up to bat.

Zach up to bat.

Boys in the dugout.

Baseball is serious business.

Zach in all the catcher gear. He wants to be just like Joe Mauer.

Natalia is one!

Natalia looks excited to dig into her cake. I can't believe how the time goes by so quickly.

The cake is from our favorite bakery The Cake Box. At the time we were taking pictures we are unaware of what Natalia is up to. She is secretly digging her toes into the cake.

She has had her first taste of our favorite cake I think she might like it.

Those are piggies she will enjoy counting and tasting.

Here is everyone who could make it over to Grandma's house to help celebrate the big day.

Emily is always willing to lend a helping hand in helping Natalia out. She loves babies. Thank you Grandma C. for the books.

Natalia and her own personal cake to goo up with baby slobber. However she did just get done digging her feet in the other one.

She doesn't have the same just dig in and go for it as she did when we were taking pictures before. Now she is checking things out slowly.

She did eventually go for it.

Happy Father's Day!

I was happy to be the first one to wish Daddy a happy Father's Day in my own special way.

What fools to allow me on top of the table. Don't they realize I will always want up here now.

Cheesecake! Nobody told me there was cheesecake under there. How exciting!

Cards are fun too. If I only knew how to read.

Cheesecake, cheesecake all I want is cheesecake!

Hanging out at Grandma's

We can't wait for summer to come again. It seems like so long ago since we were out on the lake.

John and Cordelia are enjoying a little time on the beach. This next summer will be great now that we all got the beach in good shape.

"HEY!"

Cordelia caught a lightning bug while we were down in St. Louis at the park surrounding the Arch. She is looking at her prized catch.

Cordelia is realizing this little bug has wiggled away.

Now Cordelia's disappointment has set in. This is harder than she thought.

Our visit to St.Louis summer of 2010

Our last night in St. Louis Vince took us on a cariage ride through the city. Cordelia was thrilled about going. The other three kids stayed with Grandma and enjoyed time at the lake and with their cousins. This was a very short trip three days in St. Louis and surrounding area.
Cordelia is touching the arch. This was one of the highlights for her.

This picture is of Anna, Gregory, Carolyn, Cordelia, Ken, and Natalia outside the resturant we ate at for Ken's birthday. They are Cordelia's Godparents. Carolyn is also one of my best friends from childhood. We have always thought of ourselves as family. It is nice to have friends that are that close.
Anna and Natalia at Carolyn and Ken's home. The girls and I went there when Vince was in St. Louis for work.
Cordelia and Gregory up in the arch. Unfortunatly it is rather cramped and hard to get real good photos up there.
Anna and Cordelia riding up in our capsule to the top of the arch

Cordelia and Natalia playing in the fountain on our first day in St. Louis. They also have a fountain with pink water that Cordelia really enjoyed watching but she couldn't put her feet in. We were right downtown staying in a hotel that over looked all of the fountians and the arch was on the other side of the hotel. all within walking distance.
Natalia and Cordelia in front of the fountain they were just in.
We all loved getting to spend time with Carolyn and Ken's family and being welcomed into their home. It was so nice to take a trip and just get to sit back and enjoy time with friends/family.
