A sad day for Viking fans:(

It was a nail biter to the very end. Zach remained faithful to the Vikings to the bitter end. Alex joined in to cheer them on in the final quarter. Jadin sat and read a book with no opinion on the game. Vince paced the floor like he didn't know this was coming. Natalia, not knowing the Vikings' history, was completely devastated. She's going to have to learn to get used to it.

Gigaball Fun!

We thought it would be fun to blow this ball up today thinking the kids would enjoy it. By the looks of things we may have been wrong. They tried it outside in the snow and it didn't work so well. We deflated it and brought it in to make an attempt at some fun once again.

I don't know, what do you think? Could they be using it wrong?

Family game night has begun!

This would appear to be some good, wholesome family fun. In all actuality it is a knock down drag out competitive Copa night. We are playing Qwirkle. You mix and match tiles to score points to win! I am helping Jadin with strategy. Zach who is currently winning, is always worried someone is trying to cheat (just look at his eyes). Vince is trying to manage Cordelia and teach her something along the way. Alex who's in second place decided to stop and smile for the camera. Natalia is just hanging out amongst the chaos. It was a back and forth struggle and....

THE WINNER IS JADIN!!!! Alex finished a close second. Zach is devastated with a not so close third. I guess he should have been asking me for some pointers. Cordelia was just happy to learn the game. Best sportsmanship goes to Cordelia and Alex! I better not mention where Vince finished (but it was only a four person game).

Cordelia is all a buzz about the tub

Cordelia was in the tub and said "It's a great day to go for a swim!"
She is now all snuggled up in her bee towel.

I can sit now!

Natalia's newest achievement. She is enjoying her new found freedom. She can now sit and enjoy playing on her own or with friends. This is life changing for mom and baby. I seem to be setting her up quite a bit but in the in between times she is happy and content and my hands are free. Free enough to even start a blog.
